We’re thrilled to announce our 2024 Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, Tyson Firlotte.
Since 2009, Firlotte has been the Vice President of Human Resources at Irving Consumer Products, where he oversees and develops the North American HR team. He is a leader who thrives in agile and dynamic environments and will be an integral part of the Macon Chamber community.
Firlotte is additionally on the board of committees/directors at United Way of Southeastern New Brunswick and Hutchings College and Career Academy.
We asked Tyson to name his favorite places to unwind and dine and his favorite fact about Macon:
☀️ Unwind – “Big fan of Downtown Macon and the work that our economic development partner NewTown have done. We are frequent visitors to the shows at the Capitol Theatre, another Chamber Investor, where we get to discover musical acts”.
🍲 Dine – “We often enjoy dinner at Miramar and Dovetail, who are Chamber investors”.
🌳 Fun Fact – “That Fall Line was not just a local establishment but an actual geological boundary that runs across the State. As a Georgia transplant by way of Canada, I find this fascinating”.
