The 2024 Region 6 STAR Student Teacher Banquet was held Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Middle Georgia State University. System STAR Students and Teachers from nineteen counties were recognized, and two system winners tied for the title of Region 6 STAR Student Teacher.  The Region 6 winners will compete for the state title on April 29 in Duluth, Georgia. The event was presented by sponsor Sullivan Forestry Consultants and hosted by Middle Georgia State University in partnership with the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE).
