The Greater Macon Chamber was recently awarded a $2,000 grant by the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (GACCE) Emerge Task Force, in partnership with the Georgia Power Company. This grant supported the first annual New Teacher Welcome Reception for upcoming Bibb County teachers, on July 24, 2024.

The GACCE awarded their 2024 Emerge Grants to Chambers that are being creative and innovative in their efforts. This grant was awarded to Chambers seeking to implement an innovative idea or project that will strengthen their organization, enhance member benefits, and/or address a community need.
