Leadership Macon Class of 2026 Kicks Off with Annual Class Retreat

By January 30, 2026February 3rd, 2026No Comments

The Leadership Macon Class of 2026 officially began their journey with the annual class retreat, marking the first time this group came together as a cohort. Held over two days, the retreat set the tone for the year ahead by focusing on relationship-building, leadership development, and a shared commitment to Macon and Bibb County.

The retreat experience gave class members the opportunity to meet one another, begin building trust, and step into the expectations of the program. Through interactive sessions, team-based activities, and meaningful conversation, participants started forming the connections that will carry them through the year.

This year’s retreat was thoughtfully programmed alongside Leadership Macon Retreat Advisors Sarah Schanck, Carrie Ingoldsby, and Charity Lucas King, whose leadership and experience helped guide the class through its first official program milestone. Their involvement ensured a retreat experience that balanced structure, reflection, and engagement while creating space for the class to connect authentically.

As Leadership Macon continues its mission to develop informed, connected, and engaged leaders, the retreat serves as an important foundation. The Class of 2026 brings together professionals from across industries and sectors, united by a desire to learn more about the community they serve and to contribute meaningfully to its future.
